Preferisce un\u2019espressione sentita e partecipata, piuttosto che tecnicamente perfetta e qui, possiamo metterlo per iscritto, risiede la forza del suo progetto.<\/p>\n<p>Fuori dalla tana della volpe c\u2019\u00e8 una nuova vita, forse. Una vita pi\u00f9 giusta ed inclusiva. I suoi testi parlano di <strong>libert\u00e0<\/strong>, <strong>serpenti elettrici<\/strong> e <strong>stregoni<\/strong>, mentre la musica \u00e8 libera di volare dove vuole. Veramente.<\/p>\n<p><em>Cyclamen Joe<\/em> \u00e8 arricchita da archi e pianoforte, risultando un classico <strong>noir<\/strong>, dove Gioia prende a prestito i registri di Diamanda Galas, facendoli suoi. <em>Raw<\/em> e <em>Hawks<\/em> hanno una patina <strong>quasi prog<\/strong>, cos\u00ec come <em>No Mediation<\/em> e <em>Invite Me<\/em> sono frutto dell\u2019<strong>acid rock<\/strong> d\u2019eccellenza.<\/p>\n<p>Gioia canta come se quella fosse l\u2019ultima canzone sulla terra (<em>Our world is dying, dying\u2026<\/em> declama letteralmente) e offre tutta se stessa. Non ho memoria di <em>chanteuse<\/em> italiane che abbiano lo stesso <strong>feeling sporco<\/strong> e <strong>sanguigno<\/strong>, applicato al rock underground.<\/p>\n<p>Queste canzoni nascono da <strong>mappe emotive<\/strong> molto forti a cui viene data una veste fruibile e contingente. Sono il frutto di un percorso interiore a cui Claudio Colaianni (chitarra e voce), Stefano Pomponio (tastiere e synth), Michele Rossiello (basso) e Damiano Ceglie (batteria) hanno dato significato, veste e struttura, producendo un album di rara bellezza.<\/p>\n<p>Farsi travolgere da queste onde \u00e8 <strong>catartico<\/strong> e <strong>liberatorio<\/strong>: sia per Gioia, che per
