Si avvia alla chiusura il bill dell’edizione 2010 del Roadburn Festival, evento dedicato alle sonorità heavy psych, metal e doom che si tiene ogni anno allo 013 di Tilburg (Olanda). I biglietti sono esauriti da tempo per questo happening che vede coinvolti migliaia di appassionati e decine di gruppi.Giovedì 15 aprile si aprono le danze con Goatsnake, Enslaved, Eyehategod, Yob, Jarboe, Kylesa, Monkey 3, Sons of Otis, Earthless, Shining, Russian Circles, Firebird, Monarch!, Mouth of the Architect, Bong, Troubled Horse, Ancestors, Samsara Blues Experiment, Night Horse, Magnus Pelander (Witchcraft), Eagle Twin, The Wounded Kings e Øresund Space Collective.
Venerdì 16 sarà la volta dell’evento speciale “Only Death Is Real” curato da Tom G. Warrior dei Celtic Frost. Tra le band coinvolte: Triptykon, Thor’s Hammer, Sarke e Nocturno Culto, Trinacria, Jesu, Bohren & der Club of Gore, Darkspace, Evoken, Pagan Altar, Valborg, Witchfynde, Dive, Suma, Long Distance Calling, Serpentcult, Shever e Noneuclid. Inoltre, si esibiranno Dream of an Opium Eater (Ivar Bjørnson degli Enslaved, Reuben Gotto dei Johnny Truant, l’ex Killing Joke Ben Calvert e Julia Ruzicka dei Million Dead), Comus, Church of Misery, Master Musicians of Bukkake, Karma to Burn e Death Row.
Sabato 17 si divideranno tra main stage, Bat Cave, Green Room e la nuova location del Midi Theatre Enslaved e Shining, John Garcia (plays Kyuss), Shrinebuilder, Candlemass (in uno speciale set in cui interpreteranno a 25 anni dalla sua uscita l’intero “Epicus Doomicus Metallicus”, con Johan Längquist alla voce), Nachtmystium, Yob, Brant Bjork & The Bros, Sons of Otis, Astra, Jex Thoth, Fatso Jetson, The Gates of Slumber, Altar of Plagues, Moss, Yakuza, Los Natas, Ahkmed, Horisont, The Lamp of Thoth, Black Math Horseman e Totimoshi.
Chiusura domenica 18 con l’Afterburner che vedrà impegnati Graveyard, Dixie Witch, Outlaw Order, Sourvein e House of Broken Promises. E l’inaugurazione della nuova sezione “Roadburn Festival Introduces”, per lanciare band promettenti del panorama underground olandese. Quest’anno toccherà a Capital Sentimental, Oceana Company e The Machine.
